Maxa lines up at both Quarterback and Tight End for the Bulldogs. While I like him as a tight end at the college level, I do think that he has the athleticism and arm talent to play quarterback at the college level. He has one of the stronger arms you’re going to come across at the high school level. Now onto tight end. Maxa is a real receiving threat in the passing game. He has the athleticism to run all of the routes. His ability to fluidly get in and out of breaks with ease is how he creates separation. When the ball is in the air, he has the body control and the jumping ability to go up and get 50/50 balls. Carter is a natural hands catcher who does a great job of catching the ball away from his frame without breaking stride. Maxa currently holds D1 offers from Dartmouth, Miami (OH), Toledo, and a P4 offer from Cincinnati. I would be very surprised if his list of P4 offers doesn’t grow this fall.

is a super-talented Class of 2028 prospect. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound tight end/edge has the size and strength college coaches covet. Maxa, a high-academic prospect who has played all over the field, has great run-after-the-catch ability at tight end and is also a good blocker in space in the run game. Maxa can high-point the ball around the endzone and come down with his feet in bounds. He has also played quarterback. Cincinnati is his first Power 4 offer; expect more to come his way.
