Hogsett is another top tier prospect to know about as I believe he could shape up to be one of the more productive athletes in the state of Tennessee in his class. In addition to superior catching, I like Hogsett’s speed and ability to attack the ball in the air. Hogsett also does a good job shutting down passing lanes on the defensive side of the ball.

His body type translates to real movement ability, and when he’s dialed in and playing with high effort, Hogsett looks like one of the top athletes in the age group. He made plays at receiver and consistently put stress on young defensive backs who struggled to match his size and athleticism. When he’s rolling, Hogsett is a tough cover and a difference-maker on the perimeter for the Bombers

Carter Hogsett Carter Hogsett 5'10" | 150 lbs | ATH TN was another highly impressive two-way athlete at the 12U Southern Brawl this weekend and showcased his advanced athleticism and ability on both sides of the ball. His early size and gifted ability made him a matchup issue on offense and defense. Hogsett’s length and wingspan, paired with his speed and phsyciality allowed him to make plays on the ball as a defender consistently. He closed on the ball impressively and wasn’t afraid to attack the ball in the air and force an incompletion. Hogsett’s upside as a receiver is also high with the ball skills and athletic ability he showcased both days.
