Hynes is a huge blocker that stands out physically compared to his teammates, and it’s no surprise that his D1-caliber size ended up getting him committing to Northern Iowa back in May. Playing largely at Right Tackle this season, Hynes is a mammoth to go against, but his impressive burst off the snap as well as his ability to kick outside and open his hips showed that he was capable as a pass blocker this season, further boosting his value and potential for the UNI Panthers going forward. Hynes has proven to be one of the few true studs on PEM’s team currently.

A recent University of Northern Iowa commit, Hynes has been one of my favorite outstate prospects since he kicked off his junior campaign a year ago. On his tape, Hynes is a monster. A 6’7″ center with a 6’9″ wingspan is an insane mismatch on most DTs, especially in AAA ball. There isn’t an NT safe from his wrath, and for having such a giant frame, Hynes is surprisingly quick and frequently works to the second level. This dude is a mauler who can drive kids into another area code play after play. Running behind him is a gift, and his senior season will likely cause defensive coordinators headaches.

. The 6’7 300 pounder, is a defined finisher that even shows off impressive angle blocking from what I could gauge on tape. At that sizze, Carson shows off more balanced footwork than you would expected with all that size at the center position as surely still there is plenty of upside to improve his stock even further. I surely believe Division I schools will be intrigued by this young man at prospect camps this summer for sure. Twitter
