Carlos Benjamin Carlos Benjamin 5'10" | 185 lbs | ATH Vigor | 2025 State AL is a talented running back out of Vigor that has done a ton for his team’s rushing attack over the last few years. Benjamin is explosive with the ball in his hands- he has great speed, a terrific burst, and can easily make defenders miss with how elusive he is. In addition to his finesse, Benjamin does a great job playing through contact, can withstand hits, and breaks tackles often. One of the most impressive things about Benjamin’s tape is how well he uses his vision. It’s effortless for him to see the field, he consistently moves around the field and avoids defenders to gain great yardage each carry. Last fall was a great year for Benjamin, he made a ton of plays all year and is set for a big senior season this season. With how well he’s played, Benjamin has picked up offers from a lot of programs but just had a big development in his recruitment this past week. Benjamin announced his commitment to Mercer, giving them a valuable addition to their 2025 recruiting class. Keep an eye on him this fall, he’s set to do a ton of big things in Vigor’s offense!
