Zubeck is a fascinating prospect to watch. He’s a big body tight end measuring in at 6’6 230 pounds. Good athletic ability due to very good jumping, good speed, acceleration, and solid change of direction. Zubeck has very good strength and is a very good blocker. He has very good hand strength and hand placement to control and steer the defender away. Zubeck gives maximum effort and runs downfield to block for his running back. As a receiver, he shows good release at the line of scrimmage, and can trickle out sneakily without the defense noticing. He finds soft spots in zones and exploits them. I’m very excited to see how Cannon continues his development as a tight end !
Cannon Zubeck | Aurora Spartans: This is what a future FBS Tight End (or Left Tackle) looks like on the eight-grade level. Unbelievable size and agility for a 2028 prospect that already stands 6-foot-6 and 230-pounds. A multi-sport athlete who should have a future in. hoops too.
In no way is the hay in the barn yet, but the last time I liked an eighth-grade tight end from Colorado as much as I like Cannon ZubeckCannonZubeck

. While Zubeck doesn’t yet have the double-digit scholarship offers that the 6-foot-7 Jensen has, he is already 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds before even entering high school. The three-sport athlete is currently on the shelf with a leg injury, but there’s no denying the high ceiling he has an athlete. With his best sport being basketball right now (in my opinion), give any football coach in America an incoming freshman that is a legitimate 6-foot-6, 23o-pounds, with the feet of a basketball player, mental toughness of a baseball player and physical ability of a football player–and they’ll be doing back flips in their office.
