Scott is an undersized middle linebacker who plays with strong instincts and confidence on defense. There are a couple of plays where he shows great awareness in pass coverage. In both instances, he reads the quarterback’s eyes and jumps the passing lane for two interceptions. Against the run, time and time again, he is quick to diagnose the play and put himself in the right position. Scott is decisive and aggressive. He fills gaps quickly and ends up meeting ball carriers in the backfield for tackles for a loss. I also have to add that his timing as a blizter stands out. He consistently hits the line of scrimmage right at the snap and shuts down plays before they develop. His only issue from a recruiting standpoint: size. Gotta give him credit though.
