Pruitt’s outstanding ball skills enable him to make crucial interceptions and break up passes,  and if he’s not making plays on the ball he’s providing excellent blanket coverage on opposing receiving targets. In addition to that, Pruitt excels in tackling- he displays excellent technique and a willingness to deliver hard hits, consistently making his presence felt all around the field. Last fall was a big year for Pruitt that really opened up his recruitment, he ended up recording 99 total tackles (15 tackles for loss) 2 sacks, one interception, 3 pass breakups. Pruitt plays with a certain kind of physicality and aggressiveness that make him a dominant presence in the secondary Pruitt’s aggresive nature shines in his play against the run, he routinely demonstrates the ability to take on blocks effectively and pursue ball carriers with a ton of effort to make plays around the field. Pruitt’s hard-hitting style can change the momentum of a game and set the tone for his team’s defense, which he seems to do near constant- its hard to find a play on film where he isn’t hyping his guys up.
