Cameron did what he could in this game. The game script took out the run game pretty quick for Onalaska, but Cameron was still able to impress through the night. He is a well rounded RB who can tote the rock between the tackles or off the edge. He has the power behind his pads to punish tacklers and keep square over his feet while taking hits. We saw he could flip to a second gear when attacking the edges and getting up the sideline as well. Don’t sleep on one of the top uncommitted RBs in the state among the Class of 2025.

One of my favorite RBs in this recent update to watch has become

, and I have a feeling we are just getting started compared to how impressive he will look this season. Cameron has packed on the size this offseason and will return to the field at an impressive 195 lbs this fall. That extra size should feed into his strengths on the field perfectly. Cameron eats between the tackles. His combination of patience, vision, and contact balance have allowed him to thrive in the inside run game. He trusts his ability to accelerate and break tackles, allowing him to be patient and let things develop. Once they do Cornett shows he can create yards after contact as he shrugs off tackle attempts or use some flashy lateral agility to create space. Get ready for a big senior campaign from the talented RB.

Another RB who really impressed, and looks to be in line for a big senior season is Onalaska’s

. He looked the part of starting RB with his 5’11” frame and with 196 lbs now packed on Cameron is ready for the wear and tear of a season. Even at nearly 200 lbs, Cameron jumped a 34.7″ vertical, 9’7″ broad jump, ran a very impressive 4.55 40 and a 4.57 pro agility. This athletic profile fits his style of play very well. We saw him attack between the tackles a ton as a junior. He has solid vision, then shows an effective burst through the seam when he finds the alley. His junior tape shows a back who could get to the second level and beyond by beating LBs to and through the gap. Plus he brings the physicality to the trenches. We saw that burst, and speed at the Mega Camp. Can’t wait for it to turn heads this fall. Don’t be surprised by this kid. Get on him now.

Cornett sits at RB13 overall, and one of the top ball carriers from this region of WI. He has continued to put on size, now standing at 6′ 195 lbs. Pairing his junior tape with that improved size has me excited for what is to come. Cameron did most of his damage attacking between the tackles. In those tight quarters he was able to thrive thanks in big part to his instincts for finding the open seams, his burst to top speed, and his power and balance through contact. Over and over we see Cameron pick through the high level of traffic at the line of scrimmage, accelerate through level two, and then finish with power. Cornett is a well balanced back who should continue to be on the rise. Give the tape a watch.
