Neumann measures in at 6’4 215-pounds playing TE/DE. Last season, he had 24 receptions for 276 yards with 3 touchdowns, 39 total tackles (32 solo, 7 assisted), 15 TFL, 8 sacks, 9 QB pressures, 2 INT, 1 PD, and 1 FR. Neumann has very good athletic ability due to very good jumping, balance, acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. Good release not getting held up at the LOS. Very good separation quickness. Neumann will fight through contact, exploit routes, or outrun defenders to get open. Very good ball tracking and catching. Uses his large catch radius to consistently come down with the catch. Very good body control and adjustment to the ball in flight. Makes the big catch with multiple defenders contacting him. Strong hands to hold onto the ball. He consistently gains YAC with his balance and powerful feet. Neumann is a clutch player and shines when it matters most. P4 is written all over him, and this is just talking about his offensive potential.
Neumann is an exciting prospect measuring in at 6’4 215-pounds. The WR/LB had 24 receptions for 276 yards with 3 touchdowns. Defensively, he had 39 total tackles (32 solo, 7 assisted), 15 TFL, 8 sacks, 9 QB pressures, 2 INT, 1 PD, and 1 FR. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, lateral quickness, good speed, and jumping. Very good initial quickness out of his stance. He uses his very good hand speed to engage the offensive lineman first. Good bend around the edge. Very good strength, hand strength, and hand placement. Neumann mixes power with strength to keep the tackles on their toes. Very good get off speed and block shedding. He also has very good swim moves and a bull rush. He’ll use his relentless pursuit and doesn’t stop until the ball carrier is in his grasp. I love his film and think he has P4 potential.
Neumann is quickly becoming one of my favorite prospects in the box. The 6’4 215-pound WR/LB has 24 receptions for 276 yards and 3 touchdowns with 39 total tackles (32 solo, 7 assisted), 15 TFL, 8 sacks, 9 QB pressures, 2 INT, 1 PD, and 1 FR. Very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, lateral quickness, change of direction, good speed, and jumping. He has very good initial quickness out of his stance with very good hand speed to engage the offensive line first. Very good strength and hand placement. He uses his speed and strength to overpower tackles. Very powerful bull rush. He has a relentless pursuit and doesn’t give up until the play is over. As a receiver, he has a good release. Very good separation quickness and catching. He beats the DB and uses his physicality to create separation. He has a very large catch radius, paired with very good catching. Neumann is a beast, and is just getting started.
Neumann has all the physical tools to become a top tier edge rusher in the 2027 class. He boasts an explosive first step, natural bend and the speed to win around the corner. Neumann impressed during offseason evaluations with his ability to pressure quarterbacks and disrupt the backfield. While still refining his moves to get free and consistency, the upside is clearly there. His frame and athleticism allow him to play fast and physical, and as he becomes more confident in his role, the production should follow. With a breakout year on the horizon, Neumann is one to watch closely this season.
