Williams is off to a hot start this season. He led Crowley to an opening week victory against Birdville. He passed for 200 yards and rushed for over 200 yards. Williams had a game breaking 98 yard run, showing off his long speed where he left the defense in the dust. He has the skill set to make the big throws and his ability to escape the pocket makes him a duel threat. He is setting the tone early this season for the Eagles offensively.

Caleb’s play was brilliant and he stole the spotlight with an exceptional first-half performance. Williams exhibited a strong arm with great touch on his deep ball, he displayed the arm talent to push the ball outside the numbers and this allowed him to make precise throws to his targets. Caleb is an elusive runner, displaying the skill set to avoid defenders with his speed outside the pocket and this allowed him to get first downs to extend drives in the game. His three touchdowns in the first half electrified the crowd and kept L. D. Bell’s defense off balance early in the game. Williams has been a key cog in leading the Eagles offense this season. The junior signal caller has shown poise, calmness and maturity which will be key as the Eagles look to challenge for the district title in 3-6A.
