About Amari
Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Amari (5’9½) is a highly competitive, aggressive defensive back who brings a physical edge every snap. He plays with a chip on his shoulder and consistently matches up against top-tier wide receivers, holding his own against bigger, more polished pass-catchers. Whether it’s press coverage or playing off, he shows confidence in his technique, staying patient at the line and using quick feet and strong hands to disrupt timing.
His 15 pass breakups highlight his ball skills and ability to locate and attack the football at the catch point. He doesn’t just cover—he competes through the rep, making it tough on receivers to finish plays. Against high-level WRs, he shows no hesitation playing through contact and battles in contested situations despite giving up size.
In run support, Amari is just as impactful. His 41 tackles and physical play style show he’s not afraid to come downhill and deliver hits. The 2 forced fumbles point to his ability to create turnovers, while the TFL shows he can diagnose quickly and shoot gaps when needed.

When it comes to Bartee, speed is the name of the game. A 200M and 400M burner on the track, his work directly translates to the football field. At 5-foot-8 and 145 pounds, the Texas prospect is an ideal Middle School Defensive Back. He’s put together quite well with lean muscle and does a nice job of walking the line between physical and smart play on the outside. He’s confident and quick enough at this point, to put him in man coverage with no help over top.
