Holmes sets with a wide base and bends his knees. Quickly gets into blocks, effectively uses his hands, and overwhelms opponents or out-positions them from the action. Stays square, seals opponents from plays, and easily turns them from the line. Does a nice job getting a pad on linebackers and disrupting their angles of attack. Keeps his feet moving, his head on a swivel, and is fundamentally sound in pass protection.
