On the very first play, he streaked up the seam and beat the defense over the top for a long touchdown, setting the tone early. Buckingham showed he was more than just a one-play highlight later on when he ripped the ball away for an interception on the defensive side. His rangy build, twitchy movement skills, and clean release stood out throughout the day, and his ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball highlighted the type of all-around athlete he is.
