He excels in play-action progressions and RPO reads from the gun. The 6’3 QB is attentive in his fakes and understands his progressions in passing concepts, often throwing the deep shot in the last step of his drop or hitching up to find the intermediate or crossing route in stride. He understands numbers and leverage in the run game, demonstrating a quick release on run-pass options. Caden’s legs also become a factor in the run games as he has deceptive long speed when getting into the open field.

Worley is still in the infancy stages of his football growth and is a little clunkier as a mover, which is typical with prospects still growing into their frame. He has solid arm strength and good arm talent, showing the ability to make subtle tweaks to his arm angle when throwing. He works off-platform very well, making accurate throws out on the move and when hanging on his back foot. Worley’s pocket presence is brilliant. He escapes through the pocket and always has his eyes glued downfield to find open receivers. He is a gifted runner with some giddy-up in the open field. He will surprise you laterally as well, throwing some jukes and spins at defenders to get them off-balanced. There is a lot of growth ahead for Worley, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see D1 coaches get in the mix as he continues reaching closer and closer to his high ceiling.
