Hadley will play a pivotal role. Fremont should try to milk the clock and slow the game down, move the chains, and take shots when the opportunity presents itself. Hadley has been an effective runner all season and has showcased that he can handle a large workload. He possesses good vision, has the speed to get to the edge, and is a runner who does well in getting small through the first level. He shows good lateral movement and can fight off contact. He’ll need to convert his short yardage opportunities and move the chains for Fremont to have a shot at pulling the upset.
Hadley is coming off a career game with 3 touchdowns and 115 yards on the ground. Hadley proved to be an effective three-down back and could handle the workload. He’ll need to use his vision and quickness against an aggressive Davis defense and a front seven that is quick and has good speed. Hadley moves well laterally and makes defenders miss, he’ll be a key player for Fremont if they wish to upset Davis.
Hadley was part of a committee last season but in limited touches, he showed good instincts, vision, footwork, and explosion. He had a prominent role and fulfilled the promise he showed last year. He’s added good size in the offseason, and while he didn’t show it this past weekend, he is a complete back with good hands and effective as a receiver.
Hadley takes over as the lead rusher. He is a three-down back and, as a receiver out of the backfield, has soft hands and doesn’t fight with the ball. He has good vision as a rusher, and has good size and a frame that he should continue to grow into. He has good enough speed to get to the edge and pick up chunk yards. He has a nose for the end zone and should get to double-digit touchdowns this year.
