His constant growth has allowed him to become one of the better players in the state. He is currently ranked as the No. 22 prospect in the state when it comes to the class of 2029. He is also ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the class when it comes to quarterbacks in the class of 2029 and the state of Louisiana. He could be one of the big risers when it comes to this class, but he will begin as the No. 22 prospect in the class.

Washington put together one of the more polished quarterback performances of the showcase. His mechanics remained clean and repeatable throughout reps, and he consistently showed advanced touch and placement when attacking different levels of the field.

One of the better traits in his performance was ball placement near the red zone. Washington routinely positioned throws where only his receiver had opportunities to make plays, minimizing risk while still remaining aggressive enough to challenge defenses. His accuracy consistently gave targets chances to finish.

There was composure and maturity to the way he handled the position. Washington’s blend of mechanics, touch, and situational accuracy made him one of the more intriguing sleeper quarterbacks at the event.

Washington was arguably the most impressive all-around athlete at the event, regardless of position. With good feet, burst, and fluid mechanics, he showed the ability to make every throw in the route tree. He operates from a strong base, utilizes his lower half, and delivers accurate passes with timing and confidence. Also a standout in baseball, Washington has all the tools to become one of the most heavily recruited quarterbacks in Louisiana’s 2029 class.
