Team Captain, Bryer Reichard Bryer Reichard 6'4" | 270 lbs | DL Northern Lehigh | 2025 State PA recently ranked inside the PRZ PA Top 150, a huge achievement for any senior. Announced offers out of Maine, Saint Francis, Stony Brook, and Stonehill, all four of which coming post late-October.
What Avonworth should expect…
Before the ball is even snapped, Avonworth has to matcup with Reichard from a pure size perspective. Thankfully for them, they have a lineman or two that can go toe-to-toe with him in terms of mass. Matching up with Reichard’s frame is the first hurdle. Reichard likes to shade the outside shoulder of tackles and shoot inside gaps. Reichard against interior guards will have him in the backfield in no time. Not allowing Reichard to create A-B gap penetration would go along way. Reichard can win rushing outside of tackles, yet forcing him to work on an island, not allowing him to blow up inside gaps should be a priority. Avonworth has stud bookend tackles, keeping this a one-on-one C-gap affair should help stop Reichard from wrecking this football game. It’s worth noting that Reichard is a force at OL as well.
After a great conversation with @Coach_AjMc I’m blessed to announce that I’ve received my 4th division 1 offer from The University of Maine@nwtigerfootball @kerschne pic.twitter.com/mSoJnURAp7

10 sacks to his name, boasts a build that coaches can trust to station on both sides of the ball. His drive and production on defense is going to garner FCS and D2 attention his way, yet Reichard’s frame is going to entice collegiate suitors to transition him to full-time tackle. Has powerful trunks for legs that can sustain the brunt of the flow when runs come his way. Can set the edge and disrupt OL/TE assignments. A DE in a 3-4 front is the obvious projection, Reichard is witnessed going through double, sometimes triple, teams to get to the BC or quarterback. This isn’t a pass-rusher who predicates his game on speed and rush moves. Reichard is often too powerful off the snap for his matchup to displace. At the very least you’ll find Reichard standing up his block, not allowing would-be gaps to open up on his side. Intrigued as to whether Reichard gets recruited to play OT or DE, equally intrigued to see if anything changes for Northwestern Lehigh during Reichard’s senior season compared to his junior.
