About Brydon
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am athletic and can play wide receiver, cornerback, and handle both kickoff and punt returns. I also played quarterback in junior high, so I know how to throw the ball on trick plays. My high football IQ means you can put me almost anywhere on the field.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a leader. Ever since I started playing peewee, I have taken on that role. I lead by example and always work the hardest on my team. I want to win, and I help my teammates build a winning mindset and not be afraid of any opponent. With my leadership, my teams stay competitive, and that begins with me.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Right now, I am not part of any school clubs or organizations. Instead, I spend my free time volunteering with my family at Target Dayton, an organization in Dayton, Ohio, that helps feed people in need. We serve meals, talk with people about Jesus, and pray together. I recently started volunteering with my family, and I hope to keep helping others both at home and in college.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have grown as a leader through my experiences with my teammates and my little brother. I believe it is important to lead by example and to support and encourage others. My younger brother looks up to me, and I want to show him that hard work and dedication matter in everything he does.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I have faced challenges. When I was in junior high, I played quarterback. My coaches told me that since I played quarterback, I could not start in any other position. Because of this, I spent two years on the bench as the second-string quarterback. At first, I was upset because I believed I was good enough to start on the A team. Over time, though, I learned to be patient and trust that thing
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that is driven to succeed. I want to work with a coach who will help me grow and reach my best. Being part of a team that feels like family, where everyone respects each other no matter their role, is important to me. I hope to enjoy my college years alongside my coaches and teammates. I know these years will shape my future.
