Mr. Hendrix has been on my radar for some time now and I had picked as my way too early 2A MVP earlier this season. In today’s matchup, he finished with 3 receptions for 143 yards with 1 TD (87 yards), 6 tackles, and 1 PBU. On offense, he works as a slot receiver where he can secure the catch across the middle and use his foot quicks to break a 87 yard TD run in the 1st getting his team on the board. He also can go up for 50/50 balls on deep shots downfield to add to his offensive performance. Switching over to defense, this is where this young man isn’t afraid to deliver the heavy hit on the ball carrier and make open field tackles on the perimeter. He can also jump routes in the flat for come away with his PBU on the day almost coming away with an interception and if he did there was nothing but green grass in front of him. All in all, this is a technically sound defensive back that can make plays both in run support and in pass coverage.
