The Ballard offense will be looking to add more punch in 2026, and the Bombers have a veteran quarterback around which to build. Miller completed almost 64 percent of his throws for 1,485 yards and 12 touchdowns a year ago. He added more than 200 yards and a pair of scores on the ground. After graduation losses, Miller will be asked to provide more production this fall. He displayed evidence that he was capable of doing so during his 11th-grade highlight video. Miller gets the ball down the field with ease and places it well on all of his throws. There’s arm strength to push it through small windows. Miller shows a pocket presence, stepping away from pressure and into throws. He’s a good athlete that can keep plays alive off of schedule and pick up yards on the ground.

Fleet of foot, Miller is a dual-threat gunslinger that can put the ball on a dime downfield while on the move. Often running the play-action pass and rolling out into space, Miller is a tough QB to track down with a pass-rush. Even if the pressure gets to him before he can throw it, Miller’s speed allows him to take off and run in the open field.

As a thrower, Miller has a bit of a unique throwing motion where he goes up and around with the ball, but if ain’t broke, don’t fit it. He’s able to throw it to either side of the field, and when looking deep, he puts plenty of air underneath the ball, giving his receivers the opportunity to track it and bring it down. Completing 124-of-196 passes (63.3%) last season for 1,485 yards, 12 touchdowns and nine picks, Miller will have a chance to have his recruitment grow as a senior, especially if he cuts down on the turnovers.
