Samon can play anywhere along the defensive front or at inside linebacker and is a true downhill thumper that can take on blocks, trigger fast inside and packs a punch at the POA while exploding through ball carriers. He is a high IQ kid that can get over the top, takes good angles inside the tackles and can diagnose plays quickly while sniffing out screens/draws with ease. When dropping down to the LOS, he plays with heavy hands and can set the edge, choke out blockers and collapse the pocket with power rush moves in his toolbox. Currently checking into our updated WL rankings, he is inline for a big Senior season and should be gathering plenty of D3+ interest/offers over the next twelve months.
