Nickerson is a spark plug on the defensive side of the ball. He had a very productive junior season for the Spartans. Brody had the third most tackles in the strong Eastern Cincinnati Conference and finished tied for third most sacks and tackles for a loss as well with 9 and 15.5. Nickerson is an explosive linebacker who has a very quick read and react. He takes great angles to the ball and aggressively attacks the alley’s when running in pursuit. When he gets to the ball carrier arrives under control, but violent. When he blitzes on the pass rush, he does a great job of getting home. With his strong production and film, it’s time he gets on the college recruiting radar.
