Brody Allen Brody Allen 6'1" | 225 lbs | TE/QB St. Louis | 2029 MI was another sophomore that did a lot of the heavy lifting for the Sharks on Friday night. At QB, I liked what he was able to do as a runner. He allowed the offense to block man on man and Brody was able to exploit the weak spots for some solid yardage.

Defensively, it felt like he was everywhere. He was stepping up in the run game to fill gaps and clean up tackles. He didn’t have any issue dropping back and covering in space either. He had a handful of plays where the Vestaburg QB had a guy, but Allen was able to step into the throwing lane and take it away.

I think the highest upside is on defense, but he still has plenty of time to continue to hone his craft on both sides of the ball.

Brody absolutely deserves some shine after Sunday’s performance! He looked really good and passed the eye test during the testing portion of our camp. Once he started to run routes against coverage, he was able to gain separation more often than not, and even when the defender didn’t bite, he was able to outmuscle them to secure the catch. I was impressed to see a smaller school athlete come out and ball against some stout competition from around the state. Great overall performance that solidifies him as an under the radar prospect in Mid-Michigan.
