Expert Analysis
Marcus Henry | Prep Redzone Scout
Temple is a dynamic force in the Class of 2025, known for his big, physical presence and a relentless “gunslinger” mentality on the field. Standing out as both a quarterback and defensive player, Temple is a tough, physical runner with impressive speed and the ability to extend plays with his arm and legs. He’s particularly dangerous when throwing on the run, showcasing athleticism and explosive power that translates well to his defensive game, where he plays aggressively and isn’t afraid to make hard hits. In a commanding win over Lake Dallas, Temple went 11-for-13, racking up 216 yards and three touchdowns, solidifying his reputation as a playmaker. With a commitment to Lafayette in October, Temple is ready to bring his unique skill set to the next level.

played for the DFW Pride and the lefty had a strong weekend. The thing that we noticed and really stood out when watching Temple play was how effortless it looks for him. He has a smooth throwing motion and the ball just jumps out of his hands and he rarely didn’t have the right amount of touch. Temple also moved around a little bit and played other positions so it’s clear that he has a ton of athleticism to go along with that effortless and smooth throwing motion. D1 programs are starting to take notice of Temple and we don’t think that will slow down anytime soon. He has a lot of the tools that colleges are looking for.

is going to be taking the lead for a talented DFW Pride squad. Temple earned honors last fall after a stellar junior season and he’s starting to see his recruitment take off. Temple has earned a few offers, including Stephen F Austin. He’s also received interest from Houston, SMU and Texas Tech. Temple is going to be one of the more impressive looking quarterbacks that we see this weekend. He stands at 6’5 and is also a standout on the track. Watching Temple slinging the rock should be fun to watch.
