Brock Pettaway Brock Pettaway 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Naperville North | 2025 State IL is great at running his routes from the inside receiver position. He excels at breaking off defensive backs at the top of his routes to create space. Pettaway’s speed and route-running ability make him very difficult to cover. He is one of the more polished slot receivers I have evaluated this year in the class of 2025. Pettaway is a no-brainer for colleges looking for a playmaker to open up their offense.

Pettaway is a dynamic slot receiver out of Naperville North. The 5’10, 170 lbs speedster can do it all. He is as smooth a route runner as one will find, possesses electrifying speed, and makes plenty of highlight-reel catches. Pettaway displays the ability to smoothly weave in and out of breaks, transitioning his hips to get opposing defensive backs off balance while creating separation at the top of his route. He also has the speed to run past nearly any defender who is guarding him and possesses elite body control that makes for some acrobatic catches. This human highlight-reel in Pettaway is poised for a monster senior campaign.

Mr. Pettaway reminds me of Luke Williams Luke Williams 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Naperville North | 2024 State IL , to me they play very similar and have a similar skill set as a wideout. This young man has a long catch radius which he uses when he goes up for 50/50 balls to play above the rim and secure contested catches. In the 4th he was able to find the endzone for six by doing just that giving his team momentum in the game. What stands out the most about this young man is his quickness off the line to get to the defender’s toes and break them off creating separation on the route. With the threat he poses to win over the top this gives this young man leeway on how he wants to set up the route – snapping off if it’s a underneath route or going over top on the deep shot downfield – with his release and the break at the top. Overall, look for this young man to start gaining more attention as we head into the offseason for the Huskies as they’re primed to have one of the top receiving cores in the state next season.
