Bonner ran for 1493 yards with 25 touchdowns for Valencia last season and had 498 receiving yards with four touchdowns.
He also had offers from Penn State, Nebraska and UCLA among others. Bonner is the sixth player from California in Washington’s 2026 recruiting class and the second running back.

Bonner had a solid showing at the Under Armour Next All-American camp. Georgia is the 18th school to offer Bonner.

Bonner is quickly rising to the top of 2026 RB’s in the state. At 6’0” 185 lbs. he’s a complete back that can play all three downs being effective both as a runner and receiver using his combination of size, speed, and strength. He’s a burner with track level speed, set a school record of 10.65 in the 100M as a sophomore. Also flashes plus change of direction and quick twitch in and out of his cuts to avoid tacklers in space. Elite top end speed and acceleration makes him tough to bracket once he finds a crease. Hits full speed within a few strides and maintains leg drive to run through contact to break tackles. Shows natural hands and good route running as a receiver, he’s confident and adjusts well to the ball in air. He’s a national recruit who will continue to rise up rankings and recruiting boards while bringing in high level offers.

Bonner was one of the top backs across California in 2023 regardless of class, and is a true complete back that has a physical running style mixed with elite speed and pass catching abilities. He is a well built kid especially for a Sophomore, and shows elite acceleration through the first level with third level breakaway speed and is extremely tough to bring down in the open field. He looks for contact when finishing runs, and can run through arm/ankle tackles while knowing when to cut it back against the flow or bounce it outside. Also a natural pass catcher downfield, he does tons of damage out of the backfield in the passing game, while quickly getting upfield and sticking his toe in the ground. He holds offers from Nebraska, Stanford, UNLV, Utah and SDSU and will be a national recruit by the time it’s all said and done.
