An impressive two-way defender on the rise in the Atlanta area, Brendan Flounory is a running back and linebacker for Cedar Grove who showed a lot of promise last year as a sophomore. At linebacker, the 5 foot 9, 185 pound defender was quick, active, and showed he could make a secure tackle in the open field. He made a lot of plays in the backfield and did it as a sophomore against really quality competition. At running back, he was a consistent weapon out of the backfield, he runs with power, and should see more carries come his way as a junior in 2026. He’s one of the top two-way players returning in the region for his class and will be an easy addition to the 2028 Prep Red Zone rankings in the next update.
