Brendan Gilliland Brendan Gilliland 6'1" | 205 lbs | RB/LB Troy | 2026 State PA is just bigger, faster, and stronger than most players. As a running back, he is a physical running back who is hard to tackle when he has a head of steam and is running downhill. He is excellent at toss sweeps, where he can use his vision, speed, and downhill running to run for big plays. He also shows the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield at a high level. Then, as an edge defender, he is tremendous. He does a good job of exploding off the edge and chasing plays against the offense. Several times in his film, he had sacks and tackles for loss. Gilliland is an excellent player on both sides of the ball.
