Jumping into the starting lineup as a sophomore was not an easy feat, but

flashed impressively in his first year under Center for the Jaguars’ varsity offense. Miller threw for 1195 yards, 16 TDs, and 5 INTs. Miller worked best in the play-action game, delivering passes with nice velocity and hitting through tight windows down the field while also showing finding the checkdown option on rollouts and scrambles. Miller shows strong mechanics already with his delivery and throwing motion along with some impressive passes through unconventional motions. Miller also maintains his poise under pressure and isn’t afraid to take a hit as he delivers his throws. Miller’s future is already looking bright as he will look to take a step forward along with the rest of the team in 2026.

managed to stand out in his first season as the Jaguars’ QB1 as he navigated a tough schedule and a talented but young squad around him. Miller completed 83 of 140 pass attempts (59%) for 1,195 yards and 16 passing touchdowns with a 161.6 QBR. Watching Brekken’s tape, I was very impressed with his willingness to get under center and run the Jaguars’ offense effectively. He plays with good footwork and trusts the play timing to develop before delivering the ball. Miller can run play action, make accurate reads on options, and has the mobility to spill outside of the pocket to make throws on the run. Good arm strength and accuracy— can fit the ball into tight windows. Excited to see what this offseason and year three have in store for Brekken!

was pressured quite a bit in the first half and made some errant throws, but he settled in over the final 24 minutes, leading his team to a couple scores.
Quite composed in just his second year of varsity ball, Miller has some of the physical tools required to be a solid passer, and he found ways to escape the pocket and bide time despite being under pressure for a good portion of the night. Finishing the night 9-of-16 (56.2%) for 95 yards two touchdowns and an interception, Miller wasn’t perfect, but he showed flashes of what he could be in the future for Centennial.

Miller has been a baseball prospect for some time. He’s beginning to show a high aptitude for football as well. The Centennial sophomore has taken a step forward from a physical standpoint when you compare his freshman clips of 2024 to what he’s put out there so far this fall. The first-year varsity starter has completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 222 yards and four touchdowns against just one interception. Miller stands out for his poise in the pocket, especially considering his youth and inexperience. You can see the baseball arm when he hits quick outs with dimes. There’s a starter kit here for a lot of success with further development. He’s definitely one to monitor.
