About Braylon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love running hard, fighting for more yards, and having the ball in my hands and making big/explosive plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m open to do whatever benefits the team. I’m a leader, but not super vocal, as I usually tend to let my actions show more than my words. I believe it’s important to give 110% into whatever you do, as hard work is what leads to success. I constantly strive to be the best athlete and person I can be, and I’m blessed to be surrounded by people who help push me to take that next step.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received all-conference academic awards every year of my high-school career so far, as well as received highest honor-roll honors every year as well. I’m a member of the Quiz Bowl team and a member of NHS.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe that hard work breeds success, and because of my hard work, I have been a good role model for others to look up to. I’m active within the community, always helping people throughout the city, and offering to take up important roles in youth sports programs at our school. Because of my actions, I’m a good leader and hopefully inspire others to be the best they can be.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had multiple set backs though out high-school. I’ve broken both my hand and my arm, but I never let it get the best of me as I knew it was apart of God’s plan, and came back from both injuries even stronger. I also have delt with some losses of family members through some sports seasons, which I had to make sure didn’t affect the mental part of the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a school that has a good football program, and will help shape me to become the best player/person I can possibly be. I’m also looking for a school that will provide me with everything I need academically, and will help lead me to success following my collegiate journey.
