Braylon Henry Braylon Henry 6'2" | 165 lbs | DB Gardendale | 2025 State AL is a talented defensive back out of Gardendale that has provided his defense with a ton of lockdown coverage over the last few seasons. Henry is a physical player that presents a ton of challenges for opposing offenses. It doesn’t matter if they run or pass, Henry will find a way to get involved and make impact plays. It’s really impressive watching Henry in coverage, he can line up at multiple positions in the secondary and wreak havoc. He has a really good set of hands he uses to frequently pick off/jar free passes, does a great job anticipating what wide receivers are going to run, and can bait quarterbacks into some ill-advised passes he then can capitalize on. I was left impressed by Henry’s tape last fall and believe that he will have his recruitment really open up this season. Henry has already been gaining attention, he’s picked up offers from Austin Peay, Lehigh, Tuskegee, and more. Keep an eye on him heading into this fall, he’s set for a big senior year on Gardendale’s defense.

Braylon Henry is a super talented defensive back out of Gardendale that made a lot of splash plays against the run and pass last fall. Henry is a physical defensive back with a lot of talents in coverage. Henry uses his size and speed to provide blanket coverage on some really good wide receivers. He rarely gets beat downfield, has a great set of instincts, and uses his hands to frequently jar the ball free and pick off passes as well. Against the run, Henry is a great tackler. He shows really good technique and doesn’t shy away from making big hits on the ball carrier. Last fall, Henry had himself a really good season where he recorded 43 total tackles (2 for loss) 10 pass breakups, one interception, and one sack on the year. Henry provides a lot of juice to Gardendale’s secondary and is able to really impact the game in a lot of ways. Keep an eye on him this upcoming season, he is set to have a big senior year!

He frequently uses his size and speed to cover wide receivers and rarely gets beat- he also has a great set of hands that allow him to jar the ball free and pick off passes as well.
