Spencer is one of the more athletic and slept on inside linebacker prospects across the southern section and has a long and sturdy build with great athletic abilities in space and is a violent hitter in the box that fly’s around and tracks down ball carriers backside. He shows he can come downhill, take on blocks and scrape over the top while able to quickly knife into the backfield and rush the passer form various angles up front. Spencer is a fluid mover and can quickly change direction, weave through traffic to ball carriers and looks for contact in the hole while showing exceptional range and speed outside the tackles. Another WL prospect, he should draw plenty more FCS interest/offers as he moves into his senior year and is a very intriguing prospect to note.
