Despite struggling at times with finding a consistent solution under center, there was no question that Braylin De Jager Braylin De Jager 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR/DB Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln | 2027 State IA was the center of Lynx’ passing game in 2025. De Jager emerged almost out of nowhere to lead the team with 707 receiving yards on 42 receptions (16.8 YPC) and 6 TDs, accounting for nearly 60% of the team’s total passing yards in 2025. De Jager possesses outstanding ball skills, being often reliant in being able to just chuck the ball down the field and he would find a way to adjust and come down with the ball through heavy traffic, making him the perfect piece to elevate their receiving corps. De Jager should remain the go-to target for their offense who’s proven to respond well even without a definitive leader at the QB position.

De Jager did not record any statistics for the Lynx varsity in 2024. He’s making up for lost time so far this fall. De Jager has hauled in 18 balls for 335 yards and three touchdowns, putting him among the 5A leaders in all of those categories through the first three weeks. With coveted height and long arms at the position, De Jager gives his quarterback a big target. He can be trusted to win contested balls with his skills and athletic ability. De Jager runs crisp routes with the speed and movements to outrun or make opponents miss. I’m looking forward to seeing more film on De Jager. He’s an intriguing prospect.
