Hughes is a physical young linebacker who looked right at home playing in the box. He’s strong at the point of attack and was able to get after the quarterback all night. In his first high school game, he put up 9 tackles and 3.5 sacks, which is about as good of a debut as he could’ve asked for. He didn’t look overwhelmed by the moment and just kept finding his way into the backfield. Hughes should be a name that starts finding its way onto more boards moving forward.
