It’s been back-to-back seasons for Hammond as the leading rusher for South Forsyth, putting him on a good footing heading into his older years on varsity. He is a lean player who runs hard and can pinball off tacklers. His ability to restart runs after contact is impressive. He has the requisite short-area quickness to create his own yards, proving capable of cutting in and out of running lanes. Underrated, but productive player with good tape.

Hammond was the leading rusher for South Forsyth last year, so he already has plenty of experience. Continued production should allow him to keep building a solid reputation for himself amongst college coaches. Hammong holds 170 on a lean frame with room to get bigger. Still, he runs hard, helping him pinball between the tackles and restart runs in open space. He is more quick than he is fast, proving capable of cutting across the face of defenders to create his own yards. Not a lot of buzz here, despite the production at a high level of football.

Hammond was the star of this team, and is a guy that has many years ahead of him. He was quite the productive back, and is someone that will only grow as a player, especially if he grows his frame. Hammond is a high motor guy, and is someone that I believe could ramp up to a new tier if he continues to run under his pads and continue to improve his vision. He has a lot of heart and it shows, which leads me to believe that he has big things coming. He is above his age gap and that shows on the film.
