Briskey’s a developing EDGE defender that just picked up his first offer from D-III Southern Virginia in April. The 6’2”/225 LB totaled 43 tackles and 7 TFLs for a Mojave as a junior. He’s an athletic on-ball defender that can get into the backfield with a quick first step and possesses the lateral range to tackle on the perimeter. He’s still a bit raw in his technical skillset and needs to continue to improve the consistency of his leverage and pad level. Look for continued growth and development from Briskey in the 2024 season.
