When I broke down Hayfield’s tape in the pre-season I remember Coach Overton specifically telling me to not overlook linebacker Braxton Hunt Braxton Hunt 5'11" | 220 lbs | LB Hayfield | 2025 State VA . Turns out Coach O was right as Hunt is a menace middle linebacker with a 3.6 GPA! On the year he had 68 tackles with 4 sacks, and he has picked up offers from Emory & Henry College along with Livingstone. My guess is that many division 2 schools across the east coast will be making a hard play for this state champion.
