A young man we havent talked about on here from the reigning state champs is junior linebacker Braxton Hunt Braxton Hunt 5’11” | 220 lbs | LB Freedom | 2025 State VA . Remember when I said the Eagles do not rebuild they reload, this ball player is yet another example. He accounted for 14 tackles and a 1 sack as well on Saturday and he made a name for himself in the process.

Brentsville had a thrilling win to capture their third straight Class C Region B championship over Armstrong last Friday and Nico Orlando once again proved his stardom. On the night the senior rushed for 175 yards on 28 carries with a 44 yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The Tigers advanced to the state semi-finals and will face a stout Lafayette Rams squad looking shut down their momentum. Brentsville will need another workman’s like performance from Nico Orlando in order to see the state championship in their site.

All the Madison Warhawks did was steamroll through longtime rival Westfield last weekend to notch their third straight Region D championship. The Warhawks once again had a great outing from all-state running back Dominic Knicely Dominic Knicely 5’9″ | 185 lbs | ATH James Madison | 2025 State VA who had three rushing touchdowns. The division 1 prospect had 149 yards on 18 carries which proved to be too much for the Bulldogs on the day. A rematch from last year’s state championship is all set between Freedom and Madison, will the result from 2022 be any different?

I told you about this young man before the season started and he has delivered for the Warhawks defense. Senior linebacker Luke Jarvis Luke Jarvis 6’2″ | 210 lbs | LB James Madison | 2024 VA is a tackling machine and in their title game he took matters into his own hands. Tallying 14 tackles, 3 TFLS and 1.5 sacks Jarvis was determined to keep the Region D championship at Madison. He would need another herculean like performance next week in their rematch with Freedom.

Highlights
Told you about this young man last week and he didn’t disappoint! Bordeux gashed the Lions defense for 185 yards on the ground with 2 touchdowns, needless to say this kid is peaking at the perfect time for the Bruins. Lake Braddock captured the Region C championship behind his outstanding afternoon as he could not be stopped once again. The Bruins face Highland Springs next Saturday, who if you are not aware are typically one of the best schools in all of Class 6. The way Bordeux is playing, I would not count out Lake Braddock against anyone.
