Stead, a quarterback prospect from Alberta has some impressive tape. Stead showcases good arm talent and throws the ball with nice touch and accuracy. Stead’s best ability is pushing the ball vertically down the field, he throws the ball with good velocity and can drop it into a bucket 35+ yards down the field. Stead shows good poise and patience in the pocket and does a good job of using his legs to escape and extend plays when necessary. Stead showcases good athleticism and the arm of a prospect who can play at the next level. The next step in development for Stead will be improving his footwork where at times he can tend to be flat-footed and not frame his throws.
