The all state corner is also a longtime track star for the Bobcats. Rutgers has done a nice job recruiting northern Virginia in recent years and Murray can be an impact player for them right away.

Not to be outdone by his teammate, defensive back Brandon Murray Brandon Murray Brandon Murray 6'2" | 175 lbs | DB/ATH Battlefield | 2026 State VA is up to 10 offers and seemingly counting by the minute. Coming off a junior campaign that saw him obtain 20 Pass break ups and O touchdowns allowed, Murray is one of the top dbs in Virginia. He just recently clinched the indoor 300M state title in track, and is surely looking for one in football too. His play will show you that too, Murray is a lockdown corner.

Murray is an underrated star for the Bobcats and he has been for the past two seasons. The junior is making an impact during Battlefield’s playoff run on both sides of the ball. It is hard to ignore Murray on tape, he is 6’2 and can fly. The back and forth battles he will have tomorrow night with the playmakers the Pioneers have will be fun to watch.

Battlefield’s 2025 class could have 7 FBS level prospect which is impressive, nonetheless their 2026 class may be even deeper. Defensive Back Brandon Murray Brandon Murray Brandon Murray 6'2" | 175 lbs | DB/ATH Battlefield | 2026 State VA is already legit on the football field and on the track too.

An All-American in Track & Field, Murray was tested a lot as a sophomore and he responded with positive results. Picking off 5 passes last fall, it may be best that opposing teams not throw the ball at all against the Bobcats.

Between Woodson and Murray you have two power 5 bound corners, I think teams may want to stay away.
