Western Dubuque operated with seniors as its starting and backup quarterbacks in 2025. Rissman developed on the program’s sophomore squad in hopes of winning the varsity job in 2026. In watching his 10th-grade highlight video from this past fall, the potential is there for a Bobcat breakout performance behind center next season. Rissman flashes a strong arm with an easy throwing motion. He rolls through his progressions in a timely manner and sees the field well. While Rissman is comfortable dealing from the pocket, he moves well and looks accurate throwing on the run. A breakout junior year could very well be in the cards for him.
