The son of former Golden Gopher TE coach Rob Reeves, a 2x All-Conference and 1x All-American QB at Saginaw Valley in the ’90s, Brady Reeves Brady Reeves 6'3" | 215 lbs | TE/DL Hill-Murray School | 2028 State MN has been on a tremendous tear this current Summer Camp SZN. Coming into June with offers from North Dakota and Kansas, Reeves earned offers from South Dakota State and Miami (OH) after camping at Iowa, South Dakota and Iowa State offers after camping in Ames with the Cyclones, and offers from Vanderbilt, Wyoming, Eastern Michigan, and Southern Illinois offers after the Lindenwood Mega Camp. Reeves brought all that momentum into Dinkytown for the second & final Gopher camp of the summer, and he made it worthwhile, earning the lone Gopher offer from the entire camp and roster of prospects.
Nearly 6’3, confirmed 225 pounds, and long arms, Reeves was a standout and obvious top performer during every phase of the prospect camp, looking and playing more like a seasoned senior as opposed to a sophomore. Running with the TE group, the most loaded position group of the camp, Reeves, ith verified elite athleticism for his age and size, was closely watched during the camp, earning some “good job, Brady!” and “atta boys” after his performances during the 40, shuttle, and broad jump. Reeves, while being closely examined by PJ Fleck and GM Gerrit Chernoff during drill work and indy, was displaying quick, light feet and overall concise footwork and movement skills. He could flip and unlock his hips, transition, and change direction with more play speed and explosiveness than anyone in his group, and demonstrated little to no wasted movement, no matter the drill or pace of the coaching and exercise. Drill to drill, he was one of the fastest and best performers in the group as well. It wasn’t a big surprise that Reeves earned the offer after the second and final Golden Gopher prospect camp of the summer.

A potent and dynamic athlete for the Pioneers, Brady Reeves Brady Reeves 6'3" | 215 lbs | TE/DL Hill-Murray School | 2028 State MN was a key force in guiding Hill-Murray to the state quarterfinal round last season. Reeves caught 25 passes for 327 yards and 9 TDs in 2025. Reeves isn’t the tallest at the position, but he’s an athletic mismatch against his peers, with his testing numbers suggesting his unique athleticism, including a 4.7 40 yard time, a 265 lb max bench, and a 365 lb max squat. Reeves’ speed and route-running ability makes him look more like a bigger-bodied WR the way he plays, and he showcases outstanding range as a pass-catcher. Reeves shall remain as a top target for Hill-Murray’s passing game as they look to make a push toward the 4A title after coming short last season.

A dual-threat athlete for the Pioneers last season as a tight end and as a defensive end, Reeves racked up over 300 receiving yards and 9 TDs on offense, and 6 sacks on defense throughout his sophomore season. He’s got a great frame at 6’3″, but moves far better at that size than most TEs, especially among his class. Reeves has great hands and can maximize his already impressive catch radius with a solid vert. Reeves is a gigantic mismatch for LBs, and Hill-Murray doesn’t hesitate to use the sophomore anywhere on the field. His quick release off the line and ball-tracking ability make him a problem as a receiving threat. I can’t wait to see what Reeves does during his junior campaign.

One of Minnesota’s most promising young prospects, Brady Reeves Brady Reeves 6'3" | 215 lbs | TE/DL Hill-Murray School | 2028 State MN already plays like a veteran. At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, the sophomore started both ways as a freshman, handling tight end and defensive end duties. A rare feat at Hill-Murray. This season, he’s caught 11 passes for 150 yards and an impressive four touchdowns. Hill-Murray is playing a freshman quarterback and is not throwing as much, but Reeves’ athleticism still jumps off the tape. He runs like a receiver, blocks like a skinny tackle, and plays with the relentless energy of someone who loves the game. Offensively, his massive hands and fluid movement make him a natural target in the red zone and on seam routes. He snaps routes off with fluidity and body control. Very comfortable running deep outs. Reeves is a natural ball carrier and seeks YAC. Defensively, Reeves thrives as an edge rusher, using long arms and a high motor to chase quarterbacks and set the edge against the run. This season, the coaching staff has shifted to a 4-4 front that accentuates his ability to attack rather than contain, giving him freedom to hunt. Reeves’ blend of size, speed, and maturity makes him a legitimate threat regardless of alignment. He’s a name that will keep popping up.
