Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA covered a bit about Myers in a recent Western PA recruiting update, but I want to dive deeper into his game today. Obviously, when discussing a multi-year starting quarterback, especially a senior, you want to see developmental steps. I believe we’ve seen that from Myers this season to a degree. The 6-foot-3 quarterback has largely been very effective for the Trojans, although his season numbers can be a bit misleading. He had two subpar performances against Walsh Jesuit and Mentor, but aside from those, he has excelled. Down the stretch, he has been phenomenal. In my opinion, his overall accuracy has improved despite the statistics suggesting otherwise, and it has continued to improve as the season progresses. Over his last four games, Myers boasts a 66% completion percentage, about three percentage points higher than his season average of 63.8%.
From a skill standpoint, Myers is a savvy quarterback with plenty of experience in a spread offense. He is a strong decision-maker, both through the air and on the ground, especially when running the RPO. He’s a well-built prospect at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, with very good arm strength. As we discussed, his accuracy has also improved. A strong improviser, Myers thinks quickly on his feet and rarely gets flustered, whether faced with a tough defense, a poor play, a turnover, or a daunting drive. This past week, he helped engineer a game-winning touchdown drive in the final minutes to lead McDowell to a victory over Ohio program Austintown Fitch
Overall, I believe Myers is a legitimate top-10 senior signal-caller in Pennsylvania. I’m glad to see him receiving attention from Division II and Division III schools, but FCS programs still searching for a quarterback should absolutely be looking at Myers right now.

is a FCS-ceiling type of quarterback prospect. Whether or not he gets the call from an RMU, SFU, or Duquesne is a different question. What’s good is, Myers has seen significant traction in the D2/D3 scene.
6’3, 210-215 pounds. 4.267 GPA, a multi-sport kid (basketball). Lincoln and Gannon (PSAC) offered the senior passer early into the Fall season. Despite the momentum among D2 suitors, Waynesburg likes Myers enough to still extend him a roster spot offer. A huge pick-up for any Division 3 program. As stated above, I think his ceiling is higher than most.
Super excited to have received an offer from @WU_SWARM. Thank you @ZackWindsor1 for the opportunity! @MCDFBOFFICIAL @COACHSLOCUM @NateDavison4 @BradMaendler @PRZPAvic @PaFootballNews pic.twitter.com/E1pEm5ylkp

recently announced his earning of a scholarship offer out of Lincoln University.
Recruiting quarterbacks come with a different set of rules, it’s unfair and cut-throat. Any opportunity provided to a senior signal caller should be met with elevated praise, as there aren’t enough collegiate opportunities presenting themselves to HS QBs, thanks to many factors out of the prospects control.

is a talented quarterback for McDowell. He is a machine in the pocket the way he can sit and deliver the ball. He does an excellent job of reading defenses and delivering the football. His mechanics and footwork are both good in the pocket. Myers also does a good job of throwing the ball in tight windows. He also shows a good ability to throw the ball on the run, especially on designed pass play. Myers is a good quarterback who excels in the pocket.

‘ game. I’m sure his overall rank could elevate, although he’s sitting on the fence between an FCS and a PSAC grade/projection. Considering his complete career at McDowell, I find it hard to imagine that many PSACs out West won’t extend an opportunity to him at some point. That being his floor, what’s Myer’s ceiling? It’s an intriguing conversation to bring up with coaches. Size checks out, production is a plus, grades are phenomenal (4.212 GPA), multi-sport kid. So long as coaches are comfortable with how well he understands the position from a mental standpoint, he’s likely to outpace his current ranking. Time will tell.

Just two of Myer’s passes hit the dirt against Meadville. Myers got the chance to let some balls rip in this one, showing off the capability of attacking a defense vertically. Myers got the chance to tuck and run through would-be tacklers too. Much like Danville’s Madden Patrick Madden Patrick 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Danville | 2025 State PA , some of the non-scoring throws impressed me most. Myers hit seam targets quickly after the snap, showing off a snappy release if he needs it to be. One five-yard snap turned into a long touchdown. Stock rising.

caught my attention all off-season, yet a lack of sufficient tape had him ranked lower than I think his talent suggests. This past weekend, the 2025, 6’2, 200-pound quarterback prospect at McDowell HS had himself a night to remember. Four touchdowns in a dominant win over Barberton High School, apparently he’s gone back-to-back weeks accomplishing that feat. Love the myriad of plays Myers was able to gain positive yards on. Myers worked goal-line passing concepts to a tee, throwing accurate balls to open slants for touchdowns. The big QB also scampered for a 40+ yard run, showcasing he can sit in the pocket and deliver accurate throws, while also doubling as a threat with his legs. Love a passer who can be counted on in the red zone, that was
