Blake came out and put on a show when we held out PRZMI Stock Up Showcase. If his measurables and testing numbers are indicative of his ceiling, this dude could be special.
-Explosive athlete. From his get off at the line to making spectacular grabs, Blake is a nightmare to cover.
-Great change of direction. DBs have no chance to cover him on a comeback or out route.
-Can get it done after the catch and turn a big play into a giant chunk play, or points.
Blake’s physical tools on top of his vision make for a pretty scary receiver. He has earned himself a massive bump in stock for me, and I am sure coaches at the next level will take note soon if they haven’t already.

I’ll be honest, going into yesterday, I wouldn’t have expected Blake to win WR MVP.
I didn’t even go out of my way to watch Blake; his performance was loud enough to catch the attention of everyone in the building. Yes, Blake is a well-above-average athlete, but that’s not where he stood out the most. Blake stood out by being the best route runner at camp.
He consistently got open without trying to do anything too flashy. No triple moves, and no crazy releases. Whether it was a slant, post, fade, or corner, Blake did an excellent job of quickly manipulating the DB’s feet with a subtle jab or head fake, then decisively planting, changing direction, and running his route. Additionally, Blake came down with a few difficult catches and displayed good ball tracking, body control, and hands.

There were truly no weaknesses that I saw from Blake on Sunday. He set a new national benchmark in the broad jump with a 10’8. He was in the top 10 in every single category, with a 6.53 L-Drill, 4.53 shuttle and a 4.66 40 time. His L-Drill was also good for #1 across all camps for the 2027 class. Unreal performance that earned him WR MVP without question.

Blake was named the overall MVP of the wide receiver position. He is very shifty and looks to profile as a big YAC target. He’s got the release you look for to be able to work out of the slot and can flex outside in the quick passing game. He’s not an elite-level athlete, but it’s hard to track him down the field because of his fluidity and footwork. I was a big fan of Blake after I saw his first rep in the 1v1s.

Everything I have heard about Blake was kind of summed up for me with his testing numbers at the PRZ Stock Up Showcase back in December. He’s incredibly quick, shifty and well balanced. As it translates to the field, Blake seems to be both a deep threat that can stretch the field vertically, or as a threat to take a screen pass the distance. He has a great change of direction and vision and can hit his top speed quickly. Great acceleration and solid route running helps him win reps consistently.
