Staples has been one of the more consistent passers across the region for the past couple of seasons and has done a very nice job under center in his opening season campaign for McClymonds. The athletic passer had an outstanding final regular season performance where he threw for over 300+ yards and 2 scores against Oakland Tech, a game in which the Warriors won by a score of 51-0. Staples will be one of the top quarterbacks across the Bay Area this off-season, and is poised for a huge Senior season next Fall and should take McClymonds on a deep playoff run and state playoff birth.
