Another 2029 quarterback who we saw in the summer before his freshman year and liked was James Monroe’s Bentley McCroskey Bentley McCroskey 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB James Monroe | 2029 WV . He transferred from Princeton back to his home school and should be a future starter for the Mavericks. McCroskey has ATH potential and played other positions for the Tigers this season as well that will give him options in the future positionally. His length and athleticism will serve him well as a dual-threat quarterback who’s still developing as a passer but can play the position effectively.
