Hodge measures in at 6’5 230-pounds and is dominating presence on the grid iron. He had 39 receptions for 502 yards and 10 touchdowns, 6 pancake blocks, with 21 total tackles (11 solo, 10 assisted), 2 TFL, and 1 sack.  Hodge has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, balance, jumping, good speed, and change of direction. Hodge has a very good release against both off coverage and press jam. Very good at blocking then going into a route. He fights through the physical defenders. Very good separation quickness. He’ll out run the defender, out muscle the defender, or use his smarts to identify a zone void to exploit. Very good ball tracking and catching. He’s a contested catch specialist. Hodge uses his long ranging arms to pluck the ball out of the air. Strong hands to hold onto the ball while getting hit. Hodge is a beast at blocking. Starts with a low pad level. He uses his very good hand strength, hand placement, and strength to dominate his opponent and create lanes for his running back. Hodge’s play demands more offers than he currently has.

Hodge has very good jumping, balance, acceleration, good speed, and change of direction. Very good release. Great ability to start blocking, then breaking into a route. Very good separation quickness due to play strength and mental processing. He’ll find an open void and exploit. Very good ball tracking and catching. Very good body control and adjustment. Hodge is a phenomenal contested catcher. Jack also excels at blocking. He’s a very good run blocker and dominates at the line of scrimmage. Very good strength and hand placement to win and create lanes for his running back. Great tight end that can make an impact at the next level.

Hodge is one of the best jump ball receivers / contested catchers in the state. The 6’5 230-pound tight end has 37 receptions for 477 yards and 10 touchdowns with 6 pancake blocks. Hodge has good athletic ability due to very good jumping, balance, good acceleration, speed, and change of direction. He has a very good release, especially the line release. His ability to escape hold up at the LOS and get into his route is beautiful. Good separation quickness. Very good ball tracking and catching. Strong hands to come down with finger tip catches. Very good ball adjustment and control. Hodge’s ability to adjust and still come down with the catch reminds me a lot of FBS tight ends. He’s a very good blocker as well. Using his very good strength to overpower the defender and win the block. Hodge is a dog, and deserves more love from the college side.

Hodge is a phenomenal tight end. Measures in at 6’4 205 pounds, the standout TE had 20 receptions for 235 yards and 4 touchdowns. He has very good athletic ability due to very good jumping, acceleration, good speed, and change of direction. Very good release at the line of scrimmage against both press jam and off coverage. Hodge uses his physicality against the LB or DB, and wins. He has very good separation quickness due to his athletic ability, play strength, and mental processing. IDs the void and exploits it. Very good ball tracking and catching skills. With contested catches, he uses his big frame to go up and make the play. If you need a first down or a big play, he’s your guy. Hodge also has very good blocking skills creating lanes for his running back or extra time for his QB. He deserves more offers in my opinion and I can’t wait to see him back killing it on the field this fall!

A consistent top performer at Prep Redzone combines, Hodge brings speed, agility, and precise route running to the field. He transitions in and out of breaks with ease and has reliable hands to secure tough catches. His route running ability allows him to create separation, making him a dangerous target in both short and deep passing situations. An unselfish player, he also contributes as a downfield blocker, demonstrating his willingness to do the little things to help his team succeed. Hodge’s versatility makes him a valuable player in any offensive scheme, and his ability to adjust to defenders in coverage gives him an edge over many other tight ends. As he continues to sharpen his skills and gain experience, he is poised for a breakout season that will solidify him as one of the top playmakers in his class. Expect him to gain significant attention from scouts in the coming months.

Hodge turned heads with his size, speed, and ability to create space against both linebackers and defensive backs. A creative route runner, he utilized subtle movements to keep defenders off balance, often breaking free at critical moments. Hodge displayed strong hands, coming down with contested catches even in tight coverage. His ability to adjust to off-target throws made him a reliable target throughout the showcase. Hodge’s size and athleticism give him a unique advantage, making him difficult to match up against. With his consistent performances, he’s solidifying himself as a must-know prospect.

Hodge has been consistent face at these showcases over the years. He is a consistent performer who was making big plays all day. Measuring in at 6’4 205, the junior was catching everything thrown his way. He has very athletic ability due to very good acceleration, jumping, good speed, and change of direction. Hodge has very good catching and ball tracking skills. He used his very good athletic ability to create separation between himself and the DB. When the DB got physical, Hodge got more physical. Winning at the line of scrimmage or getting up high for the contested catch. He’s a great player and has very good competitive toughness. He gives his all on each play and during each drill.

Coming in at #13 on the 2026 rankings is Jack Hodge. Hodge is a big body tight end measuring in at 6’4 200 pounds. He has good athletic ability due to very good jumping, good speed, good acceleration, and change of direction. Good release at the line of scrimmage. Hodge demonstrates good separation quickness using his good athletic ability, mental processing, and play strength. He’ll out run defenders at the top of the route He will also ID voids in a zone to exploit, or get physical with the DB/LB creating extra room. Good catching, uses his length to come down with the catch. An aspect of his game that really stands out to me was his body control. He’ll go up and make the contested catch. Having watched Hodge at the Stock up Showcase, he has shown that he competes at a high level consistently. I’m looking forward to seeing what this season has in store for him.

Another tight end who is making his name known is Jack Hodge. Hodge measures in at 6’4 199 pounds. His combine stats are as follows: 4.95 40-yard dash, 4.67 shuttle. Hodge has good speed to beat his defender and get open. During the 1 on 1’s he showcased a good release against the press jam. He will use his big body and length to go up and make catches. Good body control to keep both feet in bounds. I’m excited to see how Hodge develops over the course of his high school career.
