Trocchio and his predecessor Kaden Austin aren’t your typical Laguna Hills quarterbacks who are just vessels to hand the ball off to elite running backs in a double-wing offense.

He’s a better pocket passer than an off-platform thrower but he does have the arm strength to get the ball up the field when on the run. Trocchio is best in the play action game when he can set his feet and drive the ball deep. He does a good job not eyeing down his primary target and surveying the field.

Trocchio has really good ball placement on deep balls and is good throwing near the sidelines. I like his patience with the ball when his primary target isn’t open.
