Theroux is a pretty fun player to get excited about. A 6’8 high jump at 6’1 sets the stage for traits that will absolutely project to DB. Friday, I thought he flashed in coverage and showed he could play above the rim, which was obvious. It’s his physicality that sticks out to me. He is an energetic player who flies downhill with the concerted effort to find violent contact. I am definitely buying stock here.

Theroux has popped on my radar several times due to his impressive T/F performances. He is a premier high jumper in Georgia who finished runner-up in the state and has a PR of 6’8”. He is still creeping onto the radar and fits right in on the Creekview defense with his downhill, physical brand of football. The real difference maker in this recruitment will be the juice he offers athletically, and with two years ahead of him, he has more runway to generate some attention, especially as he keeps inching closer to 7’0” in the HJ.
