Ben Taylor Ben Taylor 6'2" | 215 lbs | DL Raceland | 2023 KY is a player that I’ve had my eye on all season that continued to impress during the playoffs. Taylor played a key role in Raceland’s deep playoff run, finishing the playoffs with 30 tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack. He is an impressive pass rusher off the edge that explodes off the ball with a quick first step. Taylor does a great job of using a variety of pass rush moves to beat opposing offensive tackles. Against the run, Taylor plays with a high motor, constantly working to get to the ball and is a very reliable open field tackler. Ben holds one offer from Kentucky Christian but deserves more attention from college coaches as he has the talent to play at the next level.

Taylor is an athletic pass rusher off the edge with a quick first step and solid pass rush moves which he uses to beat the opposing offensive tackle. He also does a great job of not slowing down and finishing at the quarterback. I also like that he keeps fighting to shed blocks and get to the ball carrier. He always seems to have a good sense of where the ball is and how to get there the quickest as he is able to make plays all over the field. Ben currently holds an offer from Kentucky Christian and I expect more to come as he has been receiving a solid amount of college interest.
